Hello,
Although I have no such recorder, but perhaps helps you to note that DV recording as a DV stream via firewire output, recordings of the hard drive but in my opinion only in the MPEG2 format. Since MPEG2 DV not conform, it is the error message.
Look in the manual of your recorder, whether the video output of the hard drive on the computer can connect somehow. Otherwise, I would check that the recorder may be a small program which has set, the one with the MPEG2 recordings on the computer can play.
Antwort von Quadruplex:
As far as I know, save the parts DV well as such on the hard drive, but everything else as MPEG. The recorder should have when playing back MPEG convert DV. That is possible - but it must also synonymous of Manufacturer shall be provided.
So, as I see's, you will remain for the TV recording of the export of hard drive only the DVD. The JVC should have an option to do this in the quality level of recording to disk to do, say, the video does not datenzureduzieren again. The DVD then you will read s.PC via the DVD drive. If you have a burn-RW (Finalizing not forget), it costs less than a blank. How it goes depends on what you with the videos s.PC plan - ergo: More Details!

According to the data recorder, the DV In / Out of HDD
After all the other JVC DV recorder with the output signal output has always s.Allen I would be surprised synonymous, because it absolutely would not make sense with DV Contact us if it does not exist.
Problem will be the right program to find the recorder recognizes, is often only the generic setting, a request from JVC service could not hurt

Crucial - but that can only originate asker clarify - should surely be whether he DV material of the hard drive to your PC or TV wants Periods. When it comes to computer material and the recorder is so synonymous can output via Firewire (which is really not self-evident), should you want to capture with other programs experiment. For Windows, there is next to the Movie Maker #*!"§$%$%&?! at least two freeware programs. There should also be synonymous existing Pinnacle software can.
Another tip: With the JVC tape device are commonly D-VHS recorder meant - this is something else than DV. Eventually the device from Device Manager bouncer again and the recorder and then connect a DV device.

First, a manual link for the interested dens
-http://www.recorderdeck.de/downloads/Manual_DE.pdf
Then I suspect that it is a successor model to the HR DSV1-3 trades are all as HR DVS1 detected (ie an old ID)
D-VHS may be due to MPEG-2 possible - because there are drivers on the net (and then possibly on the enclosed CD)
Would halt interesting to learn what with DV-out and what does not
the manual gives little in this direction since
