Hi.
I took yesterday, Panasonic NV-GS27 purchased. My first camera, so I have no idea. Now I have about these Firewire s.meinem PC and it was synonymous recognized.
Now I want the video, which I took to bring my PC.
Then I am the Movie Maker, in the camera to playback mode, the video had started and simultaneously the recording, but when I watch the video I just get a pixel salad.
How can I use the video without quality loss capturing? And what am I doing wrong? Is something with the camera?

Recording codec should be DV-AVI. If it does not work with MM, you can times it synonymous with other programs, for example try with the free WinDV (http://windv.mourek.cz/).

Thus the capture now works, have just had something wrong. But now I have another question:
If I use the video in DV-AVI format is the capture quality is super, but the file is just huge in size. I would like to find a format that the size and quality in a reasonable ratio represents.
