Good day,

I have no experience with HD and want to give me a camcorder to purchase the 1000-euro segment. This must go:

The camera must have a 1920x1080 HD stream on USB2 or Firewire output. INDIVIDUAL images should then be just a mouse click in the PC geschlürft (why? -> Copy of 16mm shooting on HD, Picture on Picture synchronously with the film projector).

If anyone knows how to do it (eg with the Canon HG21?), I would be grateful for detailed instructions.

Copy buttons 16mm film works, it is not an exotic thing, but compared to some HDV shots from qualitative reasons preferred. Recommendation A-call, I can not give you now, only that the matter really is very good.

Why not? With normal PAL camcorder it works great (see http://www.moviestuff.tv/16mm_telecine.html).

Yes, if money does not matter ... I have 100 16mm film, sometimes back to the year 1934, which I would like to HD umkopieren.

Tips for Abfilmen:

%Ï Front projection on matte photo paper (no grain. Matt disks in case of rear projection scatter> Hotspot> Gloweffekt> Grain> blur)

%Ï projector and camera are close together in the same acute angle to the Picture (angle of incidence = angle of failure).

%Ï not darken room: Too high contrasts must be avoided, since this video has no contrast. In darkened room, a B & W film actually just black and white exist.

This has nothing with this link to do so is not a frame-by-frame capturing. This is already old shooting with great advantage even more material shrinkage or swelling> resulting in poor (er) picture booth.

To 'Clear Scan' I find nothing. Specifically, my question is related to the Canon HG21.

Thank you, I use the solution of long Moviestuff.tv with PAL camcorders, it works wonderfully.

As I said, if someone could give practical tips, that would be nice.

Via USB you get for AVCHD cameras only a filesystem exported. This shows the internal hard drive or inserted memory card as a drive in the operating system (Canon especially in Photo mode can still PTP device via USB to be addressed). This will help you but not everything.

That is what you want but doable if you really have a lot of computing power. Just the HDMI output of the camera with an HDMI capture card. We have tried this because times: http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/

Before you now s.Ziel think of your desires, remember that a full-HD-HDMI datastream 100Mbytes / s and has the bandwidth will be synonymous. In compressed mode to get at least to 11Mbytes / s down, but the animal needs CPU power.

Everyone who ever SDI capture cards have to know what I am talking about:)
