Good morning,
I already have the "Search" function tries, but the thing was not there.
I have the following problem: Capture of my SonyHDR HC3 HDV material HDVSplit mot on my new Calculator (Core/4GB Ram Quad / Video Harddisks / XP SP3)
The result, however, is worse than my old AMD 1.9Ghz Calculator.
HDVSplit captures image errors (horizontal bars / freezes) are not on the tape but are created during the transfer.
What could be the reason (codec? Firewire Drivers?) Habe with Mpeg2 codec ffdshow HDVSplit as in the manual implies.

Again summarized below:
SonyHDR HC3 ==> capturing with HDV Split or CapDVS ==>
horizontal error (in PPCS3 green bars)
Here is an Screenhsot from Cs3, then this is even worse than in the VLC player. Actually you should but my new calculator should PPCS3 with all the necessary codecs / drivers etc can do. What could be wrong?

Perhaps it is some what broken.
Have you tried:
- Other Cam
- Other Tape
- Other firewire cable
- Other PC
?

on the other / old PC, I can with the same configuration capture and everything is IO
Covered schonmal s.Firewire Drivers, codecs or anything like that. Cam and tape are in order, is therefore somehow s.der transmission.

Because the principle mpeg2 appears (still with errors) I would say codec is OK.
Premiere is purchased and activated?
Is the green stuff as always s.der the same position or moving / flickering green? Or is that just exactly s.dieser agency (temporary)?
What happens if you s.alten PC gecapturtes Material in the new PC to take the timeline?
Trying times with Premiere to capture and turn on the preview and AntiVirus and stuff from it.

The green bars jumping around in the whole picture and change the position as they want.
Did last week on the old PC and captured on the new in PPCS3 imported. because everything ran without problems.
PPCS3 but runs on the old calculator is not for lack of performance. It would have somehow s.neuen Calculator lie.
Capturing old ==> import new PPCS3 goes.
Capturing new ==> import PPCS3 ==> error
Capturing with PPCS3 ==> error
I'm stumped :-(

Then I know that is not synonymous to the next time, sorry. But I strongly recommend the fingers of any codec packs to leave. The usually make everything worse.
Capture easy s.alten PC and then cut s.neuen until you have a better solution.
