Infoseite // Change video size of 720x576 in 720x400? Black bars cut off?

Frage von fabriquez:

I try a video size of 720x576 in a new format to change. When I use the Canopus encoder, it stretches my material again. I have a video with black bars top / bottom and this I just want to cut away and spend as 720x400.

After Effects I get out the Project while in the desired size, but the output does not work.

Has anyone an idea as I only get these bars away and the rest remains in the same quality?

What do you mean by "a video? If you are a do-Avi File: Virtualdub + video -> null transform filter cropping. What source material have you got and how the end result will be packed (eg DivX / Xvid Avi?)?

A video = Canopus DV AVI (Pal) 720x576 (black bars o. / u.)

Length: 02.30min

This video I want to spend in 720x400px, with the best quality. I have here the ProCoder2, there's probably a setting, just as with VDub?

In AE I can invest in my project even 720x400. There will then be shown only the video area and the bars disappear. But there is no way synonymous this issue directly in the format or am I mistaken?

I need to encode the video into different formats, that's the problem. One to send them by email as Mpeg1, DivX, or MPEG-4 to 4MB. Then an MPEG-2 and a Quicktime. The Procoder is indeed the best tool for all these formats ... but is somehow not.

Please help:)

Render Selection of AE:

- BMP,
- Cinepak,
- DV-Pal,
- DV / DVCPRO-NTSC,
- DVCpro Pal,
- Intel Indeo Video 4.4,
- No.

I always use DV-Pal, there, but I have only the choice at the ratio 4:3 & 16:9. And he then pulls back to 720x576 automatically. What should I set it, to export?

Antwort von mannohneplan:

well, PAL [i] is [/ b] just 720x576. This then leaves schonmal anyway.
Würd's as Quicktime (Sorenson, etc.) rausrendern.

How about that because the clip via the zoom function to enlarge the section of the program while maintaining the aspect ratio to the extent that the bars disappear. Although leads to slight degradation, but you can do it as a building code rausrendern DV-AVI and then have all the conversion options.

I was just trying through this cutting away of the beams, reducing the size of megabytes. I am testing it now with the Quicktime.

Then he cuts off the left and right visual information!

well, if the destination format should be 4:3 (for MPEG2, etc.) and the Picture is not distorted, which would be inevitable.

For Mpeg-2, it is understandable that the DVD format would make me synonymous with beams. It now goes to 720x400 Quicktime ... Now I convert everything into the appropriate format. Thank you:)
