Frage von bluebird:So whenever I import a video (in Premiere 1.5), which is aligned with the audio. That takes a lot of space. Can we prevent that somehow? What kind of impact this would have on the quality?

Hello,
You can not turn off my knowledge, all audio files are aligned when imported to 32bit. If you delete the files the next time they will be recreated.
In the premiere means the whole is again synonymous explains why you will want to call, however, without really a reason to the whole thing really.

Mini-DV or other consumer cameras usually offer only 12 or 16-bit setting, so always like Premiere.

I know myself with Premiere not, but fear for the information of Volker to judgments that it has nothing to do with your camera settings. Most camcorders use in max. 16bit on. The benefits of 32-bit changes is that it minimizes the quantization error will be when mixing. All audio programs should work on 32 bit internal. That must, however, to my knowledge no extra 32bit files are created. But perhaps it is not so computationally Premiere ...
