an entity of me wants to HDV material shot in native HDCAM have changed and faselte something of stream? has someone or something ne ahnung ever made?

Hello,
when there are no native HDCAM stream.
HDCAM is a Bandbasierendes format. this means you will come to an HDCAM cassette only through a video interface (namely, HDSDI, ie uncompressed) and just back of an HDCAM tape down over HDSDI.
The codec and the compression, the internal HDCAM you can not be used as a file, from out a MAZ.

This is technically a very free spirit and vorallem costly undertaking.
If you do not accidentally or through work or what Kumoel always synonymous for "free" access to an HDCAM VTR, you can order the companies to pay quite expensive. There are thousands of euros away quickly.
And when virtually synonymous to a better color hochgesampelt is worsened by the synonymous copy on the HD SDI quality minimal. There is simply a format conversion and instead there is often what is lost. I am fortunate and have a buddy in a production company and may s.and Mazen nothing to use. Hab mal interesse half HDV material in my XL-H1 HD SDI in the MAZ copied. For some pans in green was sometimes a weird flicker to recognize that in the original footage was not visible.
If your customer so no broadcasting Masters in HDCAM needs advise him against it. Unfortunately there are still broadcasters very silly and push the cost of production thereby driving unnecessarily in the Height.
