Frage von bigben0815:Hello,
I want my old Hi8 films which are still unedited 1:1 on the Mini DV tapes on my HC3 copy.
That works, unfortunately, not yet.
If I both cameras connect via iLink and Hi8 to the original play, I can HC3 on the Picture in Play mode. The Bildschirmmmeldung is iLink DV In. I go to record mode to iLink DV OUT. That means I can not absorb.
The signal is in the camera, but I do not warring over the tape.
And if someone knows how to do it. My thanks will follow you forever :-)
Antwort von Meggs:
It is normal for AV-in only in Play mode goes. At Canon, then press the recording on the remote control to the Rec / Pause button. Like when SonyHC3 work is certainly in the manual.

Moin Moin,
is of course a Digital8 and who can read is a clear advantage. If the menu EASY synonymous to get off to the menus you need to record.
Does everything and Thank you for supporting eur
Last question: is there in the transfer of quality loss? (Via iLink)
Antwort von Bernd E.:
... there is transfer of a quality loss? (via iLink) No, because the dubbing via firewire is a pure copying process, in which the data can not be changed.
