Frage von ptvwesel:I cut with Media100i (Macintosh G4) and intends to accelerate my workflow.
Instead of copy on DVD recorder and subsequent authoring on the PC I would like the video of the Media100i directly into Premiere Pro on the laptop via Firewire Out (Media 100i) and Firewire in (premiere)
Is this possible?
Premiere is a DV device - but the program crashes in front of mastering.

Hi,
s.sich should dub the one of fire fire-interface function to another ... I only have time gecapuret of a digital maz (j3 player) via firewire onto notebook ... but not with premiere but avid xpress.
You can choose to premiere different system drivers, or perhaps he has displayed only one dv-Media100 angestöpselt the device after you have?
Antwort von ptvwesel:
Ner with MAZ this is nothing more than to replay camcorder synonymous (if that with the time code was a problem - but - it's another subject).
The laptop (Win XP) displays the new hardware as a Sony Drivers - Device in Premiere as it recognizes is connected to a device, but if I go over Master To Tape (Media100), which actually starts the device shows the notebook until a Flimm image (but with the Media100 Picture) and then crashes friendly.
Ones and zeros should still be readable as a data stream, right?
