you realize.
first you should decide if you want to work only with a camera or if you want to switch between multiple cameras. then the effect on equipment and cable routes synonymous. would be even more important, whether it is s.sportplatz internet.

To what does it all?
The sport that I run is a minor sport. The organizers of the last championships have with a camera and the advertiser "Justin TV" free transfer events, or for no extra cost Internet access.
The uplink was 200 kBit was not beautiful, the other nearly 400, was much better, but not everything on TV!
Now, if more cameras come into play, you need a video mixer. I personally Hardware Liebner, but is a matter of taste. With a grabber, or an AD converter (for Firewire) to get back into the PC and it can be streamed with the same platform. It is synonymous Mixer software, which can stream the same, but I know not how it is then redistributed, or, with which provider to do it.
For a transfer would be in PAL TV-quality between the two (average (!) Transfer a DVB-T channel) and 4 MBit necessary (information of a local television station for program delivery via the internet).
Whether the free or via a streaming provider is feasible, or that the then still play along, I can not judge.
