Hello!
I struggle with the following problem: I create with Adobe Encore DVD of a theatrical production. So far so good.
At Encore, there is the option to allow any copies, which I activate and yet you can still later with eg. Images and Nero make copies to create.
And here it comes: the same approach with a friend and I can not do it (with simple means: Nero etc) make copies.
Why might that be? Burner (NEC, Plextor Copies available; Pioneer no), blank DVD + R. If RW is to create copies of both devices.
Asking for your experiences!

PS: I want to spark a discussion about the meaningfulness of copy for private micro-production (10-20 units) but to prevent just that someone can create a button on a copy.
PS2: In the printing lab with whom I usually work together, although there is the option of copy protection, but only at a huge edition, which I need not go.

Copy gibts only pressed DVDs, some authoring programs may hold the flag set for it. But it still burns with a single burner, does not affect that.

That there are "real" copy protection only when pressed DVDs to me (already clear, and I have tried to convey).
Just why is my friend, that he nachbrennt my DVDs and I am his trial basis with the same settings can not be copied (with Nero).
Is it s.Brenner, s.Rohling, ... ?

Anyway I am in constant contact with him regarding the DVD case. Just because we can not both be able to explain the phenomenon (the same software, same settings, etc) I wanted to ask one more here what you think about this.
