Frage von Wechiii:Hey Slashi's ;-)
I am pretty slow and I s.verzweifeln friends (here in the forum: Vestiche) s.19.3 had a job. All imported (60GB -.-) and even cut. So now I have a 4.19 GB large. Mp4 file, which I would like to play on a DVD.
We wanted to make the menu with iDVD, it says, but at 4.19 GB file to the great dignity (5.08GB) result in a 2.29 GB file exactly the same thing: TO BIG would (5.08GB) yield, and on 2, 64GB large file exactly the same scheme .. If all of the H.264 codec pack - iDVD so and so everything would have converted to MPEG2 (we have already done more often) but this time it will not fold easily. I think I've determined tried s.iDVD 10-20 files, without success: CLOSE LARGE (5.08 GB)
I have tried MPEG2 synonymous - shit (but wirklicht shit!) Quality and much too large file ...
Brief information about the video: 2:40 std length, 3 audio tracks (2 of two cameras, one of H4n), 2 video tracks (1 x HF 20, HF 200 1x)
Hope you can help me ...
Best wishes,
Felix and New Year

Since eh recoded in mpeg2, is synonymous no preference how big the file is H264, which it feeds. You have to put low the quality level (bit rate) for the conversion, so the draufpassen 2:40, but the effect of poorer quality.
2:40 is too long for a DVD in good qualitative, normal fit upon it so from 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on whether there are menus etc to do so.
Or take a DL DVD with double the capacity, then 2.40 h no problem ..

Have just taken the first DVD from the drive: the 2h40m have divided on 2 DVD's. With a bit rate of 2.65 MB / s went out very good quality 720p and a half (about 1h 30min) was now synonymous to the DVD!
You do not know what I already have everything hard nut ;-)
Best wishes,
Felix
