Infoseite // DI-Box to get benefits of using XLR cables?

Frage von Paul*Berlin:

The title may sound a bit confusing ... So:

I've ne Pana. HDC-SD300, which has only nen mini clinch microphone connector. If you have now are the microphone cable in the vicinity of power cables that creeps into a buzzing signal when I go from XLR microphone cable adapter on a 3.5 mm jack.

Could I get rid of with a DI box that helps to hum or a DI box really only if at least one device is connected to the mains? - If this is so: Why did I then see at a lecture, which was filmed, the cameraman after the lecture was something that looked pretty in DI box and set in advance between Microphone and Camera into his equipment bag to pack? However, it was synonymous with one webcam XLR input ...

Would of course be great if it did, because gibts ne DI box cheaper than a Beachtek:) So please write synonymous not lobbyists of Beachteks that it does not work, because a Beacktek I could not afford anyway? ;)

Hi Paul,

take a ART USB Dual Pre. I've now purchased. It is very versatile (such as a USB interface, XLR adapter, microphone, ext. Phantom power). It is mobile thanks to battery power available.
I use the part with multiple devices. When the cameras I need only the last few inches (the ART transferred to Cam) on unbalanced line. Until shortly before the cameras is via XLR balanced. Thus one can realize long cable runs without noise.

Here, for example, buy cheap to:
