Hello,
Canopus yes praises on his page, that you can convert with Edius Pro 3 HDV material to DV, with DV with 4:2:2 then compressed and thus there is a significant increase to the normal output of HDV, DV-cam.
I've downloaded the demo version of Edius Pro 3 and installed, but I'm (not as Premiere and Avid users) so clearly in order. Importing work, synonymous cut into the timeline. In the export menu, but nothing I can adjust, just select the codec (Canopus HD, Canopus HQ, uncompressed, etc). That is, if I export my 1080i material is not a 576i mind me if I had not DOWNCONVERT-specific option.
I have 3 cameras, of which an HDV has just recorded and would like to cut these 3 in SD in Premiere Pro 2. Therefore I need the HDV footage (which I have already rendered the Cineform HD codec as an I-frame-only AVI with) as the best SD format ideally (just 567i / p with 4:2:2).
Who can help me here? How do I get to goal?

yes, with the demo version! before you write such a quark, that it does not work, inform yourself erstmal!
The demo version of Edius pro 3 is limited in any way, except for the 30 day period. might be used to work the same as with a vollversion synonymous and can store and everything, what else is on demos disabled. synonymous, it seems no "X" in the result or something.

Next you need to Projekteinmstellungen (the little arrow next to the floppy disk), the Project set to DV.
You need a codec then simply take the Conopus DV AVI Exporter. Click to use and possibly to type the file name "MSDV codec.
That was it.
