which shows me the program from the tape played on DV-AVI Type (1 or 2) at? Weiterbearbeitungsprogs Some require a certain type (eg TMPGEnc ...)
Bring the AVI Type Camera with (CanonMVX40 here) or the dubbing of program (in this Window MovieMaker).
The forum in the search specified codec Scoreboard AVIcodec_ ... Of www.avicodec.duby.info shows the AVI type is not.

meanwhile have identified themselves by calling Ulead:
- DV-AVI Type 1 or 2 of the Camera is set.
- Ulead Video Studio displays synonymous type.

GSpot is free and shows you the type.
Ulead has a free tool (DV File Converter), with which you of one in the other types of conversions can.
When capturing with ScenalyzerLive you can set the type to be captured.

- DV-AVI Type 1 or 2 of the Camera is set. As far as I know, this sets the editing software and the capture tool firmly. For many tools, you can choose between Type 1 and Type 2nd

GSpot, AVIcodec, Video Inspector, Media Info, Codec Viewer, VideoToolbox
show not the type to (for me). GSpot shows "MultipartOpenDML AVI" to
has probably the type with nothing to do but format.
Can only the information of Ulead experts (see my second post). On conversion tool has been synonymous referenced.
My Ulead Video Studio 8 shows me the "right-click on DV -AVI-File/Eigenschaften / Video / Compression" the type of the imported DV-AVI to (in my case 1).

Have now synonymous with my ULEADVideoStudio8 type setting found. Why is this "expert" not me, then? Very strange. Perhaps there are actually synonymous cameras the same type-2 output?
Since I nearly always used for capturing, editing, text and transitions to Windows Movie Maker2 took (to me adequately to the compression selection), I knew not type-setting.
So everything OK.

Only when the output on the PC you packaged the whole in an AVI file Type 1 or 2

On the tape is raw data that will be capturing streamed (audio and video intertwined). In Type 2, the audio stream separately to write again. Type 2 contains audio and video afterwards interwoven additional times and audio separately. Some Programs may / not want the audio stream from the extract.

thanks for info. Had only existing GSpotv2.21 and v2.5ß8 versions used, the type is not revealed to. Have now GSpotv2.70a equal concern, so that everything is OK synonymous with the display.
