I hope my question fits here in this section, otherwise I would be best, the "beginner questions" invade. (if necessary, move)
I have several clips (DV-AVI) on the hard drive and would like to take this one after the other without interruption s.PC play. The individual clips should still be trimmed. It should
not create a new file is created.
Question: Are there any software (freeware) which can sowas? Quasi a playlist with start-and stop points and then play without any charge. The source material should not be changed.
I have tried AVCutty, ertsellt such a list but can not be uninterrupted or play is to play is not suitable.
AVISynth actually works but it is quite cumbersome a list (script) to create.
More about this reminds me not. Who has an idea?

The VLC media player is excellent. Reads almost anything. Simply attach the files to be played back Mark and off you go!

thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, it is still not what I'm looking for.
MS Media Player, VCL, Media Player Classic: You may, at the players create a playlist and play. However, the transition to the next clip, the picture just dark or short stays are available, the VCL will be reduced even in between. In none of the player (only in MS Player version 9 tested), I was able to trim the clip, so start-and Endbild set.
What I want to:
A list something like this:
[code: 1:33 b46af6f4] C: Clip1.avi 1.236
C: Clip2.avi 10.700
C: Clip1.avi 513.1206
C: Clip5.avi 1.500
etc. [/ code: 1:33 b46af6f4]
This should create the list with the software possible (intersection search). The player is then the corresponding areas of the clips without interrupting playback. It should look like as if
a cut file is played.

From the requirement since it sounds very much like the first functions of a video editing program. Then arises the question of how the video is to be played and whether a (scalable) Preview window within a video editing program sufficient?
It should not create a new file is created. Why must this necessarily excluded? This would be an uninterrupted playback.

the "cut" video should be in full screen mode on a laptop played back.
The background is the video projects for me a very long time. I'm just not (apparently vertrödele my time here in the forum ;-)). Now push all times and want to at least see the uncut video (Paddle Tour from last summer :-(). But I would at least cut out what you really can not see.
And I will not install a huge file (DV AVI) to create the constantly bothers me and then I will not delete, you could use once again. So a small script but takes less space.
Now I thought there is maybe a small fine freeware not only needs to be installed (on the laptop wants nothing to install).
Apparently, such a software but not used as synonymous is not so bad. I have now an AviSynth script and that works prächtg (AVISynth but I had to install).
If there are still ideas ... I will need something more secure. ;-)

Regardless. If you like the scenes are known, then you could but with a reasonable effort to cut roughly clips. Could not be much longer than the Mark-ins and-outs in a script to write. (Let alone to predict software to search and herumzuexperimentieren)
Then burn directly to DVD. N case of doubt over night. The euro for the blank is not poor you do, even if the DVD you only need one ....
Because in an acceptable fit Quallität still 2 hours' rauf. More uncut material, you should not be to your viewers expect (it is already too much, or is the only "background Gedudel" at a club party?

quicktime player to support the drag and drop of mov files, this trim, etc. kansnte synonymous how he does with opinions, but had to try. otherwise if you have ne avid Softare, kannste your filmszenen coarsely chop in a row and then ne rausgeben quicktime reference, the part is only few kilobytes in size. in the reference are the links to the media files saved, but you have to import your opinions, because it takes quite a long part.
