Frage von anja:Hello together,
I have the following problem. I play of a Sony DV camcorder, a film about Fire-wire on my PC. For this I use the Movie Maker. This should work fine. When I look at this movie (DV-AVI) in Media Player it will be displayed only very pale. I've already tried all possible codecs, but nothing changes. When I film, however, with Tmpgenc reconversion and then burn to CD, the colors look s.Television normally. The look Mpeg file to s.PC makes no difference. Everything just pale.
I do not know what it still can be and am grateful for any help.

In the Settings screen, but unfortunately we do nothing. I would have been terribly upset but if that had been such a stupid mistake, but the problem would be from the world.
However, I can not list a small success. I then somehow ended up again in the settings of Media Player. Yet I have set the video acceleration in any and behold: There are all the colors available. Rumprobiert Have then a little bit, because the video acceleration set to max will indeed have a meaning. So I set it back to a maximum and not use it, "overlay" but use "quality mode is selected. So my colors synonymous look normal. I then tried out my videos. At the Avi's is now synonymous anything super, but the films that I've already converted to MPEG are still pale. Oddity ...
Is there anyone another idea? Could this be s.einem missing codec?
Schonmal Thanks in advance.

If I then [...] the film to CD burning, are the colors look s.Television normally. The look Mpeg file to s.PC makes no difference. Everything just pale. No worry, everything is in order! You have already found the cause itself, but not yet seen the connection. Look in the following contribution:

Unfortunately not for me. now wonder how I make a screenshot of a video in windows media player?
