My problem: The calculator recognizes my camera no longer in the HD mode.
OS: XP Pro, Camera SonyFX1 and HVR Z1E.
In normal mode, the DV Camera detected and registered. Synonymous Works flawlessly with Avid Pro.
When I try an HD tape playback functions to the device control no more. If no more synonymous than imaging device recognized or registered.
Have already spoken-MS with no solution, just as in Avid Sonyand, None can see the problem or understand.
've Just set up XP with SP2, where it previously functioned exactly the same error.
New 1394 Map tried - same error
New Drivers - same error
At the moment I do not know more next. On another PC cameras both work easily in both modes.

Seems to me as if something s.deinem PC with the FireWire principle is wrong.
Perhaps would be a bios update or something to help?
Antwort von Frank B.:
Had under Win XP SP 2, a similar problem. Solution:
The Firewirkarte should OHCI compliant. The camera shall output to HDV and manual control over the devices on SonyD-VHS equipment. Then gings.

Thanks s.euch Both
s.Bios but it is not and the card is a Pyro and goes into another PC flawlessly.
The funny thing is that the calculator in the configuration of 1.5 years had functioned without problems for about 20 HD movies then cut at a time of one to another moment of PENG ..........
I guess the times there is a problem with the mainboard is synonymous if for me as Laine not understand is that the DV and HDV is not.

I think with the PENG has perhaps the firewire socket with adopted.
Had a case, there was s.einer JVC GY-HD100 FW socket is defective. Normal DV played out, no problem, however, HDV was not at all. The board was apparently by a short circuit cut subtly, there were also mechanical wear in the socket itself
If both cameras do not work, then either the socket s.BEIDEN Cameras dead (highly unlikely, please s.anderen computer test), or possibly your cable has a mechanical damage. The times you could share in the hope that it works.
Of course, it is synonymous very realistic that the socket is gone s.Calculator flutes, as synonymous is not any different in comparison to those in the cameras.
