Frage von XM2:Hello Forum members,
'm new here, so just briefly about my person or my equipment.
I film are a couple of years with a Canon XM2 and am what the quality of the recordings are concerned, in the large and full satisfaction. The videos I edit with Premiere 6.5 on a 2.4 GHz Pentium Calculator (approx 4 years old) and create DVD with Encore DVD 1.5 thereof.
Sometimes I have to film events with a few friends who have DV Kamaeras, but not with 3CCD. If I were them with my shots cut together, I notice of course, the quality differences.
Here in the forum I have read that the new HDV cams synonymous DV-mastered edition.
That makes me curious. I do not feel like I am now if one of these cams new growth should be equal to my entire Nachberabeitungsequipment on the rubbish and to throw myself completely synonymous there new device. So what speaks dagengen,
for example, a Canon XH A1 to buy and the first post-production as usual in DV quality with existing equipment to carry out. Sure, there is no HDV you get the tapes but I do not throw away - it can sometime with new equipment to produce new ...
And now come when thinking about other questions: Is it possible, for example, the HDV recording on the hard drive to play as and then in DV zurückzuwandeln, and possibly with the newly selected section of the source material, if goes with gentle Zoomfahrt? Would be class. I imagine this: Canon XH A1 to fix Tripod set shows the entire scene. On this calculator then of HDV recording then either all or only a part of Max. 720 as a DV file and generate, for example, with the further recording of XM2
cut together.
Geht sowas spinne or what I am here together, what will never work?
I'm very anxious to see your competent answers

that may clear, even on-the-fly data output, and your post-production equipment not even know that there is an HDV camera or even HDV material was, it gets it as a normal DV. the output material will halt 16:9, in schneideprogrramm you can either work with 16:9, while it supports it, or pan & scan it in 4:3 format. DV supports so as Anamorphic 16:9.
Antwort von wolfgang:
Most HDV camcorders dominate the recording in HDV mode, and can be the same for the output to convert it to DV. Exception would be about the JVC HD100/101. In principle, therefore one is filming in HDV mode, and then the conversion to DV - simply because the quality is better than when filming in DV (which is synonymous, but you can). One must not overlook the fact that each device HDV times, in principle, 16:9 recording.
Zoomfahren in HDV material is of course possible - but then the material should have high resolution output and editing.
Better now of course is the workflow, where you with a HDV-camera filming, the material on a HDV plays, then cuts high - and only at the end of the conversion to SD makes. Why? Since then the Project, both high resolution, as synonymous with SD has available.

And do not forget, if you hit this "post Zoomfahrten" want to do, you have the first video as HDV to have the calculator and can edit with Premiere 6.5 does not work that way!
Antwort von Wiro:
Sebastian is right, with 6.5 does not work that way.
With Pro works perfectly without problems. One must, if the final product should be a 4x3, just always be aware that it is in 16x9 HDV to act. Since it is to watch that "shots" are not up and bottom black bars appear. You can, however, on a monitor mitplotten excellent.
