Frage von Eric:Hi
I am currently in the U.S., and can buy myself a very good notebook for a good price.
Anyone know of you, if I still synonymous with Pal cameras can work? "And whether it could have problems with to give the American version of Win Xp Pro, if I try again in Germany with Pal cameras work too?
Thank you
Antwort von Markus:
Hello Eric,
if you have a digital camcorder PAL (or have) and your laptop via a Firewire port will have, then no problems are expected.
Antwort von steveb:
hmmm ... why should that be a problem. see more on the issue in power supply / voltage. The TV standard would only real TV Hardware
play a role. Cut programs and use the standard calculator program in which one pretends. XP is no preference as it is captured.
Antwort von Eric:
I might be a German power adapter for the laptop or buy?
Is there something I pay attention to what must be> or where I have to reckon with a problem if I buy the notebook in the U.S.?
So I do not think problems with Tax and customs, but hardware and software problems?
Antwort von Markus:
Spontaneously occurs to me only one obstacle, namely, if you buy the notebook along with a video editing software that would turn out - later that - only support NTSC but not PAL.

Ok
If I buy the video software in Germany, is there still a problem? For example with the American driver WIN XP PRO?
Antwort von steveb:
I would not know that there should be with a U.S. and a German version of XP SW problems. XP is XP! Whether German or American.
Antwort von beiti:
The only limitation that I see is the American QWERTY keyboard. But when the notebook is used exclusively for DV editing, which is beside the point.
Antwort von steveb:
does not mean the "qwerty"? :-)
Antwort von beiti:
Does stand on QWERTY, but I took the liberty in the sense of better readability, to insert a U instead of W. 'm An artist, I am allowed to do that;)
Antwort von steveb:
'm An artist, I am allowed to do that;) Produce proof! :-)

Antwort von beiti:
