Frage von dj0wq:Hello All,
I've used an SonyDCR-IP55E risen and would like to transfer the recordings onto PC via Firewire. Does not go! Picture is not displayed although s.PC Camera can be controlled with the software (Pinnacle Studio 9.X). Had joined in the past with other cameras using the software and everything went perfectly.
Have the camera synonymous s.einen hard disk recorder connected (firewire connection) and there was synonymous with no picture.
What am I doing wrong or could the camera be defective?
Would be nice if I could help somebody else, or tips on the Sonyhat.

Hello,
I have just one of a customer SonyIP1 there, so I am with the exotic MicroMV now know much about something better.
The camcorder's IP range to draw a highly compressed video format to tiny MicroMV tapes. Fact that the data are not the same as with DV camcorders, the Firewire protocol the IP models are not covered by the standard firewire driver (OHCI).
To dub still images digitally on the PC, you gotta earn the Firewire driver of Sony (possibly

The drivers only benefit you but still not much synonymous. You need additional synonymous software that with the data from the camcorder can do something (eg image Shaker).
There are slashCAM in the forum, not many posts relating to MicroMV (including even English), but surely you can find in it more information about this video system. Just enter times "MicroMV" into the search function.
MicroMV digital dubbing of the hard disk recorder is not possible. Connect the camcorder to the recorder with analog (Y / C and audio left / right), then it will work without problems. The theoretical loss of quality through the analog transmission is negligible and does not lead to visible damage.
