Frage von Brockhaus:Hello everybody!
My TV card to receive both analog as synonymous digital television (DVB-T). In analog mode, the supplied software the Recording option "DVD" in the digital DVB-mode, however, lacks these, but you can "mpeg2" as the recording format.
Intermediate Question: When digital TV in mpeg2 format records, then used the recording software has an impact on the image quality? Or will the DVB signal (which is synonymous in mpeg2 format is) almost 1:1 on hard drive stored? The captured mpeg2 files, I would like now as soon as possible and without loss burn to DVD, so they each can be played. The Nero burning software offers a convenient way ( "Creating Your Own DVD-Video"). However, the relatively small mpeg2 files when creating the DVD is much "bloated" and thus no longer fit onto a normal blank.
Intermediate Question: Why are the mpeg2 files from the digital DVB-T so small? 1 hours takes me almost 1 GB in entitlement. mpeg2 files from analogue TV are much larger ... On the net I found various instructions how to use these files quickly and without loss alleged in the required DVD format can bring usdiese here:
http://www.audioworld.de/Anleitung_DVB_auf_DVD_brennen.html
If this approach is still topical? Or there are simpler methods or
programs? I already have a 1.5 GB mpeg2 file (feature film) with "PVAStrumento" demuxt and then with "IfoEdit to VOB files remuxt. These files can for example with Nero as DVD-video file burn by using the generated files (. Vob,. Ifo,. Bub) in a folder named "Video_TS" inserts. The size remains roughly the same, so that even one or two films would have space. Problem: IfoEdit creates always the same. Vob,. Ifo and. Bub-files, so I no second movie in the VIDEO_TS folder can add.
White shooting someone here? Can I order the "Video_TS" folder to create? A lot of questions, I know. If you have one or the other could answer, I would be very grateful!
Many greetings,
Andreas

So firstly, I would record digitally, as you will simply much better quality.
The analog signal is purely analog and needs of the TV card or the software should be digitized and although MPEG2 (which is with you then DVD).
For digital signal no longer needs to be changed, since the stream as MPEG2 already exists.
The software has on the quality if they do not influence the stream does not change, of course, now I know not whether your software s.dem stream makes something or not. A completely unaltered stream to get to 100% when the stream directly onto the hard drive is copied, then you have a so-called. Ts file (1:1 what's inside). When recording in MPEG2 it may well be that the data always to the same level is brought.
Analog files are larger or have a different size, since it as already said above of the TV card / software will be created. The files of DVB-T are only slightly or not altered.
The workflow of the above still seems to be out of date ('ve only briefly times over).
For people who take a little more, this workflow but impossible to create such as the DVD lasts forever.
I would advise you a package such as Nero 9 to buy, so you can edit videos and burn to DVD. This is all relatively easy and "fast".
I personally take as DVB TV stream (ts), and then cut with Videoredo and then to convert to Divx.

I'm sorry, but it does not DVD authoring. It is not enough, a second video file in any folder to copy. You have to be so synonymous have a menu, with which you then select the videos from it - but this exceeds the authoring capabilities of IfoEdit.
Look for "GUI_for_dvdauthor" - stupid name, but cool freeware authoring program. Thus you can synonymous complex structures with DVD menus and other extras author. The rest of the workflow will remain as you've described it.
If you like the workflow with all the individual programs in the long term is silly, you can synonymous "DVR-Studio Pro, try it. That is exactly made for your purpose: About DVB recorded movies on DVD bring. Taste, however, a trifle.

Hello and thank you for your answers!
I'm now a lot wiser.
I personally take as DVB TV stream (ts), and then cut with Videoredo and then to convert to Divx. For broadcasters, the only analogy I can receive, I take on directly with Xvid.
ts files, I can with my recording program does not produce. What software do you use this?
With the "GUI ..." has also worked perfectly! Thanks again.

Andreas
