Frage von buesing_de:Moin zusammen!
A friend told me something with his DVD recorder included what I want with Ulead Video Studio 10 now import them into your own movie.
To convert DVD to AVI, I use DVD2AVI-ripper, but the result is, despite 720 * 540 pixels rather sobering - many fragments and artifacts ;-(
Can s.dem codec are related? What you should take or what corner of the image quality problems usually come from?
Thanks in advance!
Antwort von Stefan:
You should take the AVI codec, with whom you want to cut. Without sample image remote diagnosis is pure speculation.
Good luck

Codec should be DV-Avi, there's of different companies. If you are among your installed codec is no such find, you can try to here: http://users.tpg.com.au/mtam/install_panvfwdv.htm. I suppose you are working in the 16:9 format, normal-Pal Resolutionwäre 720 X 576?

I suppose you are working in the 16:9 format, normal-Pal Resolutionwäre 720 X 576? 16:9 also has a DV Resolutionvon 720 × 576 (PAL). With square pixels, it would be 720 × 405th Fits therefore not synonymous. ;-)

Hi Markus,
Thanks for the note 16:9; was too lazy to look for yourself, and since I usually work in Pal, I had not in his head. But one learns tend to add ...
