Hi together.
Question: DVD DL plays any player who s.oder DL. Have 2 hours Theater
filmed. Either 2 DVD per 1h. or DL. BUT who can play the DL?.

Hello Fritz,
no, the DVD DL is not yet of all DVD players supported. I estimate the risk of incompatibility still be a relatively high one, since few people constantly buy a new DVD player (with latest firmware).
Compress such as Dolby Digital sound, then you can accommodate the video still synonymous with acceptable frame rate on a DVD-5. Theater recordings (I own them) are usually not as critical as ... when the cameras were set up well! If the recordings are rushing, the picture needs a higher data rate. Otherwise, it comes quickly to visible artifacts.
If in doubt, burn the video first on a rewritable DVD-RW and it considered s.Television.
