I want to be me (s.besten equal) a printer to most "professional" DVD cover (no cover for the cover but for the disc itself) to print.
This beautiful concert recordings, I can pack so to speak. For larger orders straddling me back to the pressing plant.
I got me a couple of models and views'm stuck with these:
Canon Pixma iP4300 Canon Pixma iP5200 Epson Stylus R800 And to me that the Epson is too expensive.
I really want to no more than 150 euros for the DVD because I cover (envelope), a color laser printer use. Even I put no value on good photo prints as I use for this purpose a Studio hab ....
Mainly just for the DVD Media.
Are there any comparable printer like the Epson (of which I already have two threads to read here in the forum), or do the other 2 are synonymous, or,
how is the quality of the prints? can be of reasonably professional print talk of pressure or faded fairly quickly, or looks of modest from the outset?
And last but not least: What is with the quality of lightscribe DVD blanks? (do the Canon printer ja) smeared the pressure fairly quickly or the pressure is even better than the printable blanks?

Lightscribe Disks can not be printed, are printed on the so-called special printable blanks needed. With Lightscribe blanks burner burns a lightscribefähiger (after the blank with the top down into the burner has) a Picture (compared with a grayscale picture) into the surface. I have the Canon iP4300 and am very satisfied, synonymous with the label printed on blanks. Whether, however, synonymous for professional claim enough, I can not judge. For my private claim, it is completely out. For durability of the pressure I can not say that the printer only around 2 months.

I recommend the Canon i865, unfortunately there are only needed.
But has the great advantage that the cartridge only 1 ¬ / Color cost.

What I know is lightscribe. My brother has a lightscribe burner. I know that the synonymous blanks are not exactly cheap, but I read somewhere (I know now where, unfortunately, no longer was a test or something like that) in the stand that one synonymous lightscribe DVDs can be printed. Would look better because it is glossy.

Why not a smaller R Epson printer. I use a 300 for many years and am very satisfied. However, we recommend following the printing yet with special sealing lacquer nachzusprühen. The keep them very long.
I have about 300-500 blanks until now printed. Another tip ... use silver blanks (eg of kronenberg.com), because if you substitute white than silver use, it looks very noble and most suspect it being a pressed CD.

I even print the DVD's with one of Canon IP3000. No problems, however, the new Canon yet be Tevez.
One of the blanks, have tried many varieties:
- With Memorex is not satisfied, do not dry out properly.
- Verbatim much better, first photo-printable - now High Glossy, when ordered www.printer.ch - cheaper than in the MM
- TDK is synonymous Glossy DVD offer, have until now with us in Switzerland can not find.

The DVDs are in Kronenberg synonymous ordered, missing only the Color Fix Spray, because there are a few synonymous manufacturer. Where you buy the spray? One more thing: What paper do you? The glossy paper is not the right thing.
The DVD will cover it with a thinner paper that is not so bad as the glossy shine.
