I have a tft computer monitor without internal tv tuner and would like a DVD player connected to video without the calculator can show.
Question: Are there DVD players that can connect directly s.den monitor it? if so, how are they called (so I can seek it)?

've just discovered this forum, and had a similar problem!
I have a TFT monitor SonySDM S-95 with 18 +1 think dvi port and a connector sub 15 and would like to with my dvd recorder sony rdr hx 750, except has an HDMI port or all the possible connections, connect.
Did I now have another ebay HDMI / DVI cable bought http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=270231366893&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=017 to both together.
However if I connect both devices miteinader, I get a signal while s.den monitor only one schwarzs bild.
Has anyone ne idee? what we can do?

The HDMI output of a video device is in most cases by HDCP copy protection locked. If you are using the DVI adapter s.einen input connects must also support HDCP - do some of the latest PC monitors, but not all synonymous - and some older models usually do not (-> Manual).

Hab s.recorder the Connections: Scart, composite, s video, component video and HDMI!
On the monitor is the only sub 15 and DVI 18 +1
