Hi,
I just created with DVD Power Tools 2 a DVD menu. According to Manual and Internet research, it is possible to png or gif files with transparency involved.
For me it seems but unfortunately the real part of the transparent graphics as a white area ...
Has anyone a hint what to do?

Geh mal in Power Tools on the menu / button and choose which object in the archive - general. They load up your transparent PNG image and then on of sub-menu (right mouse button) in the DVD menu take. Works fine for me - with shadow effect.

thanks for the reply. Although I've previously not using the right mouse is inserted, but unfortunately it synonymous changes nothing. The real transparent background of the png files will be shown as white space.

I'm not sure I understand your question (sorry, am a layman in this whole area): I have several transparent PNG files - some for example in Gimp. Among other things, for example, copyright C, which is located on a transparent substrate. Or rectangles, which have rounded corners and I want to use as buttons.
[Digression: I know there are buttons for what with rounded corners. but the corners distort so if the buttons in height or length scales that it is no longer looks like. so the idea own graphics involved. when it's done differently, I am pleased about any info!]
The files are all located in the image folder in which I had all that is what I s.Grafiken mount.
What do you provide with? (sorry, as I said, lay).
Assists in the determination of the solution somehow next? I would be very grateful for further hints.

are you sure that your png files synonymous truly transparent background?
With Gimp, I do not know, but if you eg Ulead Cool 3D Production Studio an object as GIF or TGA file is created, you s.Ende while saving the "Transparent Background" to activate. And only if you have activated, it works synonymous, that the objects in Power Tools transparent. In PT himself, you can no longer be adjusted retrospectively. The objects also have either a transparent background or not.

I have now tried again extra:
New document in Photoshop with a transparent background.
From a random JPEG Picture an excerpt in the new document is copied, so that the transparent background detail enough to see the whole thing was and then as a PNG file.
Power Tools 2: In the menu mode (at the top of the bar set) any picture as a background is added, then the top (in "Menu - Button - Text") "button" is clicked, the bottom "property - in general" and then set the gespeichrte PNG Picture on the "Open folder" icon (next to the object - in general) in PT2 imported. It appears below in the gallery although with a white background, if it is then drag and drop "in the Menufenster hineinzieht, it seems like it should be, with a transparent background - ergo it works flawlessly and your files are either not transparent or you make a mistake somewhere. Give it a again, or try it with transparent TGA files.

My mistake was, not as an object-einzupflegen general, but as a general picture. Since the PT is not transparencies. That's what I Georgs contribution some time ago, unfortunately, skipped, sorry for that!
