Infoseite // DVD Recorder + computer screen?

Hello,

In my holiday home I want to be able to take my favorite DVD's and watch them there. A TV comes to me but not the house! Is it possible to establish a standard DVD recorder directly connect s.einen computer monitor (TFT), off two small boxes and off you go?
For such a combination did not read anything in the Manufacturer descriptions ...

ne ... makes no sense, except the DVD-Rec. would have a VGA-out output. The video output is usually in PAL 720x576. A computer monitor and usually triggers higher on these images to see more s.Computer sch ... e from (z.. B. for TV cards, etc.). But why not use your computer for it (which is) appears to be on site? Why is connected to a DVD Rec? A PC can be synonymous to play DVD's :-)

Thanks for the hint! The computer (a PowerBook) is mostly in baggage with this, but only mostly. At the moment he takes (it) is actually the role of "HomeCinéma's". But I thought s.eine stationary solution that is both affordable and comfortable. A DVD usof projector with built-in recorder (Epson's) would be great, but after I saw the Prices for the replacement bulbs (about 400 ¬), I prefer to let your fingers on.
Then there is the most favorable solution to the greatest possible computer to buy LCD and the PB just to have wherever you go .... right?

a video projector worth actually already. min at a lamp lifespan of. 2000 h you could watch every night, h 2 and should have some 1000 days of your device (that's 3 years - but rather improbable that gets to use every night) so keep a realistic gets 7-8 years and then we are back in the technique next a piece, this one will refresh the device again :-)

I've just seen 350 h (beamer toshiba s10) and it has been 3 years.

If you have a NB, I would join this s.einen TFT ...

This account I opened synonymous (shortly after the post). If the Manufacturer This effectively guarantees 2000 hours, a DVD projector actually a good solution. Will test whether the picture is acceptable. 've Never seen such a projector in action.
