Hello,
the girlfriend of one, with DVD Studio Pro, create movie (including the menu) is distorted during startup. Stop and start the DVD again, everything is displayed correctly. Strangely, this problem only on the so far tested Macs - s.Windows on computers and DVD players is the Picture in order. Is this a known problem or someone knows how to fix this?

Vague information, it seems but what with the aspect ratio set to do. A 16:9 geflaggter m2v (of Compressor for example) can be made in DSP by definition synonymous in 4:3 display, and vice versa. A menu with other aspect ratio leads - briefly - to a visible distortion when switching. Any setting error, but otherwise unknown.

To stop the problem now again accurate to describe. Have just started trying different. I think it must s.irgendeiner recruitment in the program itself (where everything is set to 4:3), or the format / burn what happens. I have a new menu (720 x 576 image and taste) that were new to import m2v, the film already started on other dvd's. The same problem occurs, the image is vertical in the long, drawn, I have to press stop and play again, it is in the normal position.
this shows me that it is not s.den images or movies may be. but s.einer setting. I have tried synonymous TS folder into Toast to burn the same. it starts as normal, then the picture is distorted, stop, and it works again.
waaaaaaaaaaaaass is just despair!
my DVD Pro perhaps an error?

What is tested on a Mac? This already happens in the preview or DSP only in Apple's DVD Player or after firing on all players? Is the DVD consistently 4:3? What does the car start? Scripts are in the game?

So in the DSP preview everything normal.mac tested quite simply means that it has been played on 3 computers, two mac's is the menu + movies in the vertical warped, which means the buttons no longer synonymous. pc ran it normal tv synonymous.Das happened after the burn as soon as I insert the dvd, auto start, the menu appears, however warped. you press stop and play again it jumps to 4:3 720 X576 image.
as described above, if I burn it in toast as a TS folder, it is synonymous with auto start warped. I opened it on the open player, then it seems like normal. actually, it is always the autostart warped. scripts does not exist.
I did it as gesgat again with another film and menu probiert was synonymous warped. The program has perhaps an error?
3 Button separate from photoshop file, 1 movie and 2 MVG slideshows created everything at 720x576.
do not know next. I have it maybe on another computer to make new again? None has so drauf :-( DSP;

Also by googling, I have described the effect of you / defect was not found. A bug in the DSP is almost certainly ruled out, I know the program since # 1.5. In the description that distorted the
keys can be played, what rang. The times I had. I was like you convinced done everything right to have rushed the (in terms of key highlights are not very enlightening) Manual and other literature, but my mistake, I found by chance. The term "Auto Start" is used only in connection with a button that has already been made dialing (keyword "mouseover") their target object is activated or as the execution of a script playback under certain conditions. The fact that a DVD with a menu starts, however, is normal. If there is a
menu-film, there is already a lot of what you can do wrong. Subpicture highlight for example the keys are separate from video files, the visible representation of each player concerned. This can lead to all sorts of unexpected errors, keyword Pan & Scan or letterbox instead on different pixel aspect ratios. A menu-film must either be superimposed on a standard File menu or as a track with key emphasis must be defined, obviously consistently in the same aspect ratio of 4:3 to 5:4 Pal. For a quick test whether your graphics buttons are wrong, you can find one of the ugly buttons from the DSP library to test against hernehmen, - or, better quality, anyway, a Photoshop-level from the Pal-preset with
all the highlight shapes in pure Black on Transparency (save as "Tasten.psd" important for subpicture fonts and forms never smooth!), then as a superposition state level and in the DSP under> Advanced> highlight the grayscale color with Anti-Alias | Wavefront Mayaing (Manual) set. Qualitatively better no se puede, and trouble with aspect ratios are history ...

but I think I have the puzzle solving.
the screen resolution. I was at a girlfriend now, she has a G5. then it ran normally on the monitor. only on the two laptops are not running both mac. my pro on it which I've burned. Now I have at my screen resolution to 1024 x 768 made showed everything normal.
my laptop is 1440 x 900 eigestellt. Now I have it once again burned out from the DSP and is now synonymous my laptop well. why?

Salut,
has nothing to do with the screen resolution as such to be done now synonymous if you have other experiences, is not synonymous with G-or anyway an older OS. Maybe you can software-player set wrong, I've never been involved. Sometime's you can find.
The next time the menu after trying my method. Quick to make, better quality, and always works everywhere.

shame, now you take me but the wind from the sail.
sounded so good.
there will be the same again but on another test laptop's see what happens. Otherwise, I hit stop, play, then it is in the rictigen position, let me start the showreel, get the dvd out equal and then the viewers would have to restart s.der position, then he noticed the posotion, then give the menu until after the showreel. not nice, but have no time anymore.
