Frage von Tupamaros:Aloha, I need help! ;-)
I have deadline for a DVD and everything works wonderfully, except for this one thing:
in a movie on the DVD can be heard after a certain time (always at the same time) suddenly no more sound. The file (wav) works outside of DVD Studio Pro but flawlessly until the end. Only when I'm in my Project binding stops suddenly the sound (but runs next film). Uh ...?
All the other films on the DVD does not have this problem.
The DVD (DVD-9) is proppevoll, but if I do another film in order to check whether the sound lack of space is playing, he still does not. Must therefore lie s.der File? And they're - as I said - perfectly in iTunes, etc. through to the end.
I get an error message and does not burn, it can be fun synonymous. We hear nothing more after only about 2 / 3 of the movie ... Hmpf.
I am you now for your help very grateful ...
Gruß,
Dennis
Edit:
Also very strange is that the soundtrack - I have it in DVD Studio Pro even reduced - only just up to this point, after which the sound disappears again renew it. I do not understand it ... :-(
Antwort von Axel:
The problem is I do not know, although I in recent years, probably a few hundred DVDs geauthoret, but perhaps because I always have respected the specifications. Both for the sound of the Compact to AC3 (= DolbyDigital, with Compressor) as synonymous for uncompressed sound as Aiff and Wav, later on the DVD as "PCM" appear, the sampling rate is 48 kHz, 44.1 kHz and not how this CD sounds the case.
When the editing program to incorrectly defined sampling rate to Asynchronität leads, who knows what will happen on a DVD? So check s.besten, and export in case of doubt with the Quicktime audio new.
Delete the broken audio from Timeline and the Media window and easily import the renamed (Hint, it might not be, but has never done) into the DSP.

Hi!
Thank you for the quick reply! Great!
The sampling rate is 48 kHz, so it's worth it will not be. Blöderweise I sit here at my cameraman s.Mac and the film is in my home on the PC (Avid). I will be the soundtrack in any case once again and try re-export, whether it's work (unfortunately, probably will last until Monday, hmpf).
If there are other proposals are: her damit! ;-)
Adiós,
Dennis
Edit: you write "with Quicktime": I have no QT Pro ... And: The file is called MakingOf.wav and is located directly on the desktop. For a long pathname and umlaut-problems so I am from. Asynchronous is - fortunately - nothing ...
Oddly enough, is in the bottom left window (the media, protocol, know the official name of the window unfortunately not), after I had cut the file and then they are no longer on the full length expansion was suddenly the "shortened" term (change of 32: xx minutes at 22: xx minutes). The size of the file does not seem to be affected. Oh dear ...!?

Hi!
Okay, hab's right. Was then quite simple s.wav file. Thanks again for the quick and friendly assistance.
Schönen Gruß,
