Hello,
It is possible (if so which program with) what settings to create a better mpeg *. a *. vob file, or DVD-structure for the standalone player, without going to the detour, while authoring one menu structure or similar To make the created DVD.
Specifically, I would like a home video, which is present to me as MPEG on a CD (yes CD does not burn DVD) and it should then complain to the standalone DVD player to automatically start running without any rumzusuchen DVD menus and select the MPEG-file (I think everybody knows what I mean).
I have read on various web authoring Programs, unfortunately, all working with menu structure :-(

It is of course a menu structure, but no one gets of the somewhat with.
for example, with DVD Studio Pro
You put the disc just start on the start of the Mpeg2 track.
Menu, there is simply none. When you press the Menutaste, it does nothing or jumps s.den beginning of the track.
Where is the problem?

Unfortunately, I do not know DVD Studio pro, there are synonymous freeware, or can I do this synonymous with Nero Vision Express?

Synonymous, it would be sufficient to simply burn mpeg2 files to a DVD as an ISO. Each player would play it.
However, you'd have to at some of pressing the Play button.

Nope, that's not true. So at least on my player here comes the "DVD-Explorer", that is my player here shows me a menu where I select the file must be selected (see eg synonymous if I put ne MP3 CD to the individual tracks).
That is what was preventing my question!
I do not have this menu but Autostart and how the prescriber has already informed synonymous with pressure on the Menutaste or similar to follow or not to hire restart the track.

and the synonymous works with Nero, the only problem is, it is only when I burn a DVD-Rom.
What I did: I have a Nero image of my MPEG file created and stored. Then I got this image (500mb) times to a CD once burned to a DVD, with one difference: The DVD makes the film AutoStart the CD goes into my DVD-Explorer, "where I see then 2 folders (VIDEO_TS, AUDIO_TS) .
Can Masquerade as the DVD player somehow here is ne DVD in the slot?
Or what could be done to save on CD ner the film.
Background is: I want to distribute this CD s.Freunde (20-30Stck) and about 500MB every time I do not overdo a DVD - but do not want to give up the automatic start feature. (Say no to go through the menu of the DVD player)

With Ulead DVD Workshop 2 deals with no problems, create a disc that is able to exist without any menus and starts immediately. However, only the mpg and the audio file must be imported to be dragged onto the track list, done. This may be the burner (DVD or CD) select when you create.
My discs were running up to now on any DVD player immediately without menus. With CD's but I have not made any tests.

Since I create DVDs that I work with, among other things, the film distillery. If you do not explicitly create a menu that starts the DVD in all Plaze, located in my access, auto.
Your problem may be, however, that you want to use a CD, no DVD.
This is called a mini-DVD and was quite a long time as the DVD Burner was still very rare and expensive, a viable alternative with few restrictions, though, even if the Plazer that adopts it.
Few Plazer until about 1 years played from these CDs with a DVD data structure. Then may one of your main problems lie.
The other limitation is the data rate. Most Plazer if they took place because the discs, computer drives, which max approx. 4x speed CD ready to put. Accordingly, the data rate was low. By doing this you bekamst approximately 20 minutes of video on a CD (= Mini-DVD)

With Nero I created a mini-mal DVD without menu and Co..
Same problem: The CD will always appear in the DVD player with DVD-Explorer, select the file only needs to say is. Unlike the DVD, because the car starts running.
What's funny synonymous, the same raw materials and raw material supplies synonymous with the DVD, an audio signal - the CD runs silently.
I guess I'll have to put up with having to burn my footage to a DVD to use the Startup feature. Although illogical - is not so :-(

You can burn a DVD (all starts of itself) with IfoEdit to create, and the DVD structure (VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS), then burn with imgtoolburn.

a clip with no menu, so you can create (:-), unfortunately I did after I round on CD (no DVD), burn the same problem as before -> Autorun does not go (I go into the player menu) and a tone will not synonymous, issued in the *. VOB file.

If the CD will run on any player, then you can not post "DVD" with video_ts folders, etc. to create, but have to make a "Video CD (VCD).
Unfortunately, while you'll probably not get around to find the Neucodieren your MPEG2 file, because the requirements are quite rigorous for VCD:
MPEG1 with 352x288 at a constant bitrate of 1150kbps.
Roads Tools include "VCDEasy"

uuups that with the CD, I had skipped, sorry.
I know me now nich so dolle with the whole subformaten from SVCD. Perhaps you could comment, the original mpeg's somehow without recoding force on a SVCD?
But I myself have never done or attempted, but only so ne idea of me.
