Frage von tobe:Hello,
I hope I'm in this area here with my questions correctly:
I have with Adobe Premiere Elements camcorder sequences from a movie together, I am happy now synonymous s.Freunde in the USA and Australia wants to send a DVD.
The (finished) film is available on PAL TV standard
1. The U.S. has lt AdobePE NTSC. Someone knows what Australia has?
2. The pixel aspect ratio settings are on D1 / DV PAL - do I have to adjust accordingly?
3. or would be if I have to export (on DVD), then for the U.S. NTSC activate the button?
4. What is s.Film itself can still be observed / change?
Asking for your indulgence for my maybe stupid questions, but I very rarely work with DV editing ...
Thank you for your help!

1. The U.S. has lt AdobePE NTSC. Someone knows what Australia has? Australia has the same television standard as Germany: PAL B / G.
2. The pixel aspect ratio settings are on D1 / DV PAL - do I have to adjust accordingly? You have to adapt much more: a DV / PAL video has 720 × 576 pixels at 25 fps, while NTSC-M (so the correct name) 720 × 480 pixels at 30 fps provides. Since almost everything must be converted.
3. or would be if I have to export (on DVD), then for the U.S. NTSC activate the button? Give it a try. Many programs can convert PAL to NTSC, but the quality is not good (repetition of certain pictures, order of 25 to 30 fps to come -> jerky motion). To view a copy would be sufficient, however.

An alternative solution would be to an NTSC 24p format to go - that is 720x480 at 24 fps. The PAL can be used as synonymous NTSC player, and it is closer to the 25 fps of Ausgansmaterials. How well that's your editing program can convert, but I do not know - would be at a Vesuch to.
