I despair for days s.einem problem and need help.
Preliminary, I must say that I do not have much clue what the creation of DVD's are ...
I have the following DVD-lab Project:
- A VMG menu as main menu.
- 8 VTS menus (Roots), the main menu.
- Under the 8 VTS Roots are a few movies, slideshows
and menus in manageable numbers.
I have therefore 8 VTS Roots made in the forum because I have read that a VTS max. 1GB data processing.
The size of a DVD, with my 3.5 GB displayed.
As a temp directory and the compiler I've ever directory a folder on a hard drive specified Ext. So no space problem.
The. Dal project file has a size of 4.900KB.
Now comes my Probelm:
If I want to compile the whole, immediately the error message "Out of Memory". If I have two VTS Root menus do, then he usually compiled easily. But it can not be that the number of VTS Roots is limited to 6, right?
Now to my calculator:
I use a Core 2 Duo Processor (2.25 GHz) with 4GB RAM. Virtual memory is on a different partition and is with 2048 - 4096 set.
I would be really grateful if someone could give a hint. Because of the Project depends s.and something I have no idea what I still do.

Had such a problem synonymous times.
The reason is in principle very simple:
Have Windows XP (32 bit) and had to run the compiler has been completely eaten up to 2 GB (visible in Task Manager). From there, unfortunately, is closing in XP and no preference whether I will or increase virtual memory but more memory to the calculator put the 2GB in the compiler and it will fail.
In this case I had a project with 8 each VTS and is still around the 32 menus (+ movies, etc.).
Remedy has brought the following:
I had a main menu which is linked to different VTS was.
I then just a few of the menu in the VTS and deleted the project compiled. I have received a DVD with the main structure and proper links to the VTS (but only had black Picture).
Then I emptied and other VTS also compiled. The resulting VOB files I have put in a folder being missed (ie empty replaced with the full) and voilà! Already went there.
This is not a way of working, but unfortunately this is a limit of Windows. A 64 bit operating system would help.
