Frage von Bahamut:Hello community:)
I have a commercial DVD (not copy) which I like a little together and cut into s.bearbeiten want. As fine, why always synonymous, with nothing. Vob files can start, I am looking for a solution to convert DVD and the best possible quality to keep.
To me the following programs are available:
Premiere Pro
After Effects
Magix Video Deluxe 2007
Nero 7 (Complete Suite)
Windows Movie Maker
Of s.ist is synonymous no problem to use other tools if these are better suited.
What program and how would you advise me?

Hello community:) Since ae, why always synonymous, with nothing. Vob files can begin, It may already, just not with everyone. Depends on the internal structure of the streams. Anyway, "lossless" and then AE is quite contradictory. AE decoded in any case, the stream in full RGB images, including all the artifacts at neukomprimieren then turn to even more problems. Premiere could be more of what tear, although it is synonymous here it matters whether the stream nd really fully entknoten must.

Hi Bahamut,
the format of the VOB - files is nothing other than MPEG. Copy the VOB file onto your hard drive and rename the file extension in "Beispiel.mpg" around. Magix When you can see the VOB, in most cases synonymous directly import. On the timeline, you can now carry out your editing. To truly lossless to work, remains only the possibility of tough cuts, without applying any effects or transitions. Are you ready, you can s.Beispiel Magix now a DVD. When rendering process to make sure the "smart rendering" is turned on. This means that only the edited positions are calculated. For hard cuts only specific areas. The original quality of Mpeg remains completely intact and so thou wilt no difference to the DVD initially seen.

@ Host
thou hast already, VOBs are container, but it is MPEG 2 ... and renaming the method worked for me several times now absolutely no problem.
But whether MPEG or VOB files with Magix on the timeline should be considered when Smart Rendering the original quality.

Hi folks,
I'm an (un) happy owner of a Canon HR10 :-) I use Adobe Premiere with Mainconcept mpeg pro plugin. The DV editing problem (for SD recordings) I've solved as follows:
The. VOB with VirtualDubMod (freeware, my version 1.5.10.2) according to load and convert DV. For this I use the MainConcept DV codec (probably comes from the pro mpeg plugin for Premiere). In the settings I had, however, the "Change Field Order" box, since my camcorder and Premiere, as it looks, different half-sequences with interlaced video have.
Now I can FINALLY imDV format video cut!
