for an older family member with previous Super 8-but a reasonable understanding of technology I am looking for hobby Filmerei. My choice is to format mini DVD-like, since a lack of post-PC skills will not take place and the handling / playing is so s.einfachsten (DVD in and well, no need to connect the s.TV).
The following criteria are important to me:
- Easy handling, with full automatic mode for recording and finalizing the DVDs easier
- Quite handy
- Good image quality, thus not an absolute no-frills model
- Like Optical Image Stabilization, but it is not necessary
- Maximum price around 300 ¬.

Canon DC310/320/330: ok, but no optical stabilizer, finalization of the DVD only with network connection :-(
