Hello,
VOB is a container format, which includes usein MPEG2 - Video. If you have the suffix VOB to an MPEG-typical ending fixes (mostly for PC. Mpg, at Mac's, I do not know exactly), some video editing programs to cope with the file. This does not always work, but it's worth a try. ;-)

Hello Jan.
First you invite you this tool 0sex down ":
http://downloads-zdnet.com.com/OSEx/3000-2200-10211590.html
Then you're looking for with the VLC or (somewhat lengthy) with the stand-alone player exactly the title and the chapter s.dem you lies.
Then you put the DVD in your Mac, star test 0sex, choose from this chapter and copying it to your hard drive (please specify when
Fmt "Elem. Streams in the corresponding menu). You will receive a Mpeg2 file and an AC3 file.
Then You get here the tool Drop2DV ":
http://www.ralf-papenfuss.de/mac/info.html
The two (separate Programs for PAL and NTSC) round things you pull synonymous to "Programs", but in any case, synonymous to the dock. The program will start with auto decompression to DV, if you do. "M2v" file on the icon in the Dock draw. Open the program is not manual, otherwise you need to enter the terminal commands, nit know whether this is necessary! The quality is the same use as in DIVA (Avid backward) or
macmpeg2dec, just easier - and faster!
Now you have a standard DV stream, but there are synonymous to the
sound as Aiff, you will need
macac3dec: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mac3dec
For a comfortable working around the insertion (a spot in standard stereo) you should check box "split channels" miss, you'll get sonnst 6 (!) Mono - Aiff - files, just for L, R, C, LS, RS and S .
Hope that helps.
