Hi,
can someone tell me how transforms with the Magix Video Deluxe 2006/2007, a DVD into MPEG.
The first time, has to import the the file worked but there was no sound. Now I can not do it again to import the file - the program hangs.
And how can I reduce the data from the DVD?

To see the video of the DVD to MPEG you'll need to change any software. Copy the VOB files of the DVD to the hard drive and change the "name" of VOB to MPG. VOB files are MPEGs, but usually include VOBs additional languages (Audio) and subtitles. The lost when renaming.
The so obtained eg with TMPGEnc MPEGs you can stick together ". The amount of data with the same tool you can reduce (14 days free) Trial. Reducing the amount of data synonymous reduces the quality of the video.

Gibts problems but with AC3 sound, if no such filter has been installed from the direct import of files and copy protected. Programs legally distributed in Germany, may not circumvent the copy of the manufacturer and therefore it can not synonymous.

The question of the legality of my proposal for the "ribs" applied "program" raises unlikely, it is the Windows browser. I can not imagine that you could just copying a copy protected DVD.
