We have a DVD recorder - and so few movies / shows wildly included on DVDs.
What software do I need to get the movies on your PC, edit, organize, and burn it to DVD (so I see you again on our DVD player / recorder can not play?)

Hello,
DVD playback will start automatically when your calculator, so you see no files. Open My Computer and click once with the right mouse button on the DVD drive. From the menu list item "Explorer, select". Now you see the data contents of the DVD.
The individual video recordings are compressed in MPEG2 VOB container files. In many cases, it helps to copy the VOB files on the hard drive and to rename the extension. Vob to. Mpg. Some video editing programs can edit these files.
