Frage von reisszi:Hello,
I am on the search for a new camera. before I put my big internet search had begun, there was really only the choice between a vx2100 and the DVX100. after a long lay over me, I then decided on the panasonic, but unfortunately had to find that the most advantageous offer is for ¬ 3000 (or 2500 for his dubious Belgians @ ebay). I can because it was equal to 300 and take the xha1.
the camera is primarily designed for sports (bmx), but for normal synonymous indie film projects.
that I basically do not need HDV, therefore, synonymous the original choice zwischn vx21 and DVX100. other hand, it can not hurt a bit for the future to be prepared and 16:9 is a bonus which I gratefully accepted.
Unfortunately, I have here in the area found no dealers, where the two times I hands-on test could.
am grateful for any feedback, I'm just very indecisive

The DVX-Forum's recently had a similar discussion:

Furthermore, Panasonic has obviously yesterday in the U.S. List price for the DVX lowered to $ 1000:
http://catalog2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ModelDetail?displayTab=O&storeId=11201&catalogId=13051&itemId=94944&catGroupId=14571&surfModel=AG-DVX100B
First Retailer in the U.S. currently offer the Cam for $ 2600 on - would be smooth as an import worth (yes yes, I know, a guarantee - but so what), or waiting times, nor the NAB, as the price this country will develop.
My opinion:
So awesome how the DVX in terms of handling is synonymous (manual zoom, etc. - that hardly any other offers): a camera without 16:9, I would not buy anymore. Sure, you can use your 16:9 anamorphotic to buy, but it's priced then synonymous in regions where the actual counts and not more unwieldy it is.
I'm times yesterday by the Media Markt geschlendert (I rarely do ;-)) and I do not have a 4:3 television to discover more. What should I do with a 4:3 Camera 16:9 in a future world?
This makes no sense in my view and that is why, the DVX for me is not synonymous with the issue and fails HVX200's s.den more expensive P2 cards (but synonymous because the price is now clearly slipped) and a little s. the size (in comparison to the DVX is a very nice globig).
When Panasonic designed a DVX with 16:9 would bring - which I would buy immediately, but so: no, a no go for me.
Better then the A1.
Greeting
Emu

If you imported from the USA but you'll certainly a NTSC cam, right? ... and also the power supply is not true (110 volts instead of 230 and wrong times), it is quite proper shipping, upon entry into the EU, the inches on the hand and the VAT is still synonymous top. - Did I forget something?
The bottom line is that hardly interesting.

The bottom line is that hardly interesting. All true, but B & H is synonymous to the PAL version (on request, as far as I could read - in the online shop you will find they will not).
But I guess times that the price fall is synonymous in this country - the USA is always the first to stop it - and therefore of worth may be a wait if you wanted the Cam.
Antwort von reisszi:
thanks for the information with the price. will now in any case, just wait for what with the price does
