Frage von Olly:Hello!
I play a DVD. What I create menus in Photoshop and with Ebenennamespräfixen [zb (= 1)] worked. Unfortunately I now have a small problem. Where do I define in Encore, which is my main menu is (have three menus)? Have the prefix (+ ^) is used, which means, according to the button with the main connection. Since I do not know where the menu says that it is the main works in the preview button I can not.
Yours sincerely,
Olly

Hello
I suspect that the main menu after inserting the dvd as the first to be started (first reproduction)
the asset, which was the first established players, is in the project window with a yellow dot (with a black triangle is) marked ....
you should want to change it then click with the right mouse button on the desired asset, after inserting the dvd should be started, and select the window that appears select the point as the first set-reproducing

Hi!
Thank you for the quick reply.
Unfortunately Helps me your answer is not quite next, because my first play is not the main menu, but an intro is. If, according to aid not be a problem. I also have it as you described and have tried it is not.
The asterisk means that this is the main act? Somewhere I have yet to define this? Or?
Greetings!
Olly

Endaktion link to the "first play" with the desired menu.

with the yellow dot shows the triangle is the only asset your s.with the dvd begins ... should be covered in your intro to the
if you have the intro as the only players to have there as a link of endaktion on the main menu ... First, it runs the intro, then the main menu will appear from out of where it then reaches the other menus
or what else do you want to do specifically?

The problem is that my menu created in Photoshop, which is in the "back to the main menu button" with the prefix (+ ^) should work, does not work. The automatic link for the button is not created.
There are also lots of DVD's with which a voice menu, then come and film previews until then the main menu is displayed. How do now Encore, that is not the first language menu, but the second menu is my main menu. Somewhere you have to but can.

maybe I'm old fashioned but I link everything manual (even at only 4 menus) - as you know what you do ;-)) ... that would be synonymous my tip! link itself, then you know where you need to search for errors later if there is one
and at four menus is really not the world, holding down the mouse button a few times across the screen to draw ... you're probably already finished ...
programs are stupid - everything they need to know you have to notice them .... and before I make now s.deiner hours s.dem prefix character suspension, I would be with a few "mausziehern" ready
evt should synonymous times since the "remote feature" a closer look

Yes, if I had links to everything, I would certainly have long done, but because I at least every week in order to create a DVD and the menus for up to 28 buttons that would allow me to work easier. Maybe someone else have a tip for me.

This isses synonymous not think so. These buttons are only for chapter menus, ie menus, the Chapter Points in Time Lines thought to link between several of these out and her menus to navigate, which is of course particularly with automated creation of Video Previews makes sense. On the main menu, you only have the appropriate assignment of the "Remote" button in the global settings of the DVD-Roots. Everything else is not possible, but you need other programs.

In Encore you can not define what is your main menu. you have to cut each window ndaktionen as well as the remote button so choose, that you go into the menu. and it is always better when dus amchst by hand, when work is synonymous, but that you know in any case that dus hast done;)
