Infoseite // Depth - depth of field - DOF

Frage von cubemusic:

Hi, I'm trying to clarify a question, but find no way through the search, at least not quite speedy.

Movies I want to look in the film shoot, which I did not 16:9 is important. The only thing that counts for me is a strong depth of field-effect, as of 35mm DOF adapters reached. But I would not its disadvantages, so do not faint, blurry picture with vignetting, etc. ..

My rationale: I buy an ex-professional camera, possibly in the DV format, 3-5 years old and has but this effect may be possible.

Question: Is there such a thing? Can I for example with a Canon XL1S or XL2 or SonyVX make 2100 something? Or even a step back? Time of the capacitor problem apart - with a Canon EX2?

Thanks for your opinions,

Phil

"THE" film-look, there is not. A depth blur effects can be with each broadcast Optics achieve. Take a nice Fujinon 4.8 x10, hold a large distance to the object is a record and just focus. And all without a 35mm adapter, whose handling synonymous lot s.Erfahrung needed.
2 / 3 "-heads (4:3) beklommt it without any problems for little money, an optics one can rent and, depending on the Koppf then there is a synonymous format an entire bandwidth s.Docking drives available.

Hi cubemusic,

next to the aperture is the size of the image sensor for the depth of responsibility. Since very small camcorder image sensors, is the depth of field of nature huge. Even in current professional HD camcorder, you will find "only" sensor size of 1 / 3 inch. The diagonal of the sensor surface here is only 6 mm in 1 / 2 inch 8 mm. Even with very good camcorder is the size of the image sensor that is 20-30 times smaller than that of a film negative.

To that extent you will be synonymous with an old camcorder no lower depth of reach. There is in fact only, and in tearing Aperture Telephoto filming.

Hi,
and oh, oh. For one, 4:3 mega-out and barely anyone is interested, but nowadays it is with almost 4:3 yes again. The pleasing sight, because the human vision / field of vision is much better adjusted, but is in fact 16:9.
Depth, or rather the absence of that is not all what a look there.
Depth symbolized not only by levels of sharpness, but by perspective, light and shadow, differentiation of objects, mainly history, movements, and and and - mostly in combinations thereof.
Only in the telecommunications field to film brings perhaps little DOF, but also synonymous A sometimes undesirable change perspective. If you DOF alone for salvation, but making do, you come to the 35mm adapter not around.
Otherwise Aperture on and off.

Andreas

For the consumer models with IDT 1 / 3 'end. All professional HD camcorders are obviously more than 2 / 3 ":
SonyHDW-790P, SonyHDW-750 (2 / 3 "FIT CCD) or SonyHDW 730 (2 / 3" IT CCD).

The ranges are still not at normal focal length release a motive.
A propos exempt as long as it is relatively short takes, this is cropping with masks, as in
