am in search of a freeware tool that I can use to provide accurate information about video files, including the audio codec can get. Most importantly what would be the file for a video codec and audio codec.
Does such a tool for the Mac. Thank you for your tips

ffmpegx this almost seems to be a suitable tool to be but I will at the info is not really smart, which is the file for a specific audio codec has.
Mir is the audio codec so important because I have a DVD player that can play divx synonymous. But if I simply Toast Titanium on a DivX DVD to burn, it is unfortunately often happened that I had no sound.
I would prefer if I with a program, for example, just the sound of the mpeg file without re-coding of, for example, aac to mp3 convert could, and then just burn with Toast Titanium could.
Take times to me that this would save much time
