Sure. The XR500 or XR 520 provide a very sharp picture and the best pictures of the class LowLight to 1000 ¬. Schau doch mal in the database and compare the two camcorders Cams together!

Hmm, so if I am right here, then there are the following "serious" differences:
The XR500 has:
- Built-in hard disk and Memory Stick PRO Duo
- Mini-jack for Micro-In
- Viewfinder
- Focusing and aperture wheel
Does the machine because the hard drive? Or is it a sort of additional "backup" in mind?
Otherwise, of course, even the arguments for the XR500 ...

I have both cameras in use. The differences in quality are very low. The Picture of the XR 500 is the Slashcam test for me so does not exist. In good light, both cameras the same images as the color difference in test make is not available to me.
On low, the difference is synonymous Ligth very low. Comparison here:
Differences in the handling and the size. CX has no viewfinder, no micro input and no headphone jack. Display is smaller and has a slightly weaker resolution.
Weight and Size are also lower because of the lack of hard disk.
Who keien value on viewfinder and Micro-and headphone jacks shall be operated with the CX as well. The "Rüttelschutz" is better for the CX.

I have both cameras in use. Well, that's time lucky!
CX has no viewfinder, no micro input and no headphone jack. Display is smaller and has a slightly weaker resolution. Viewfinder think - have I with my current camcorder I used before.
Micro input - I find even stupid. Potentiel gebrauchbar. Where else but on the shoe?
Display - well, a shame, but hardly a purchase decision, right?
Thanks for the info.
Greetings from France, a couple of hundred yards away in Switzerland ... :-)

I use mainly for the CX, the XR only for shooting in which an external micro is needed, or if I go with both, I'm the XR on the tripod and the CX as a handheld camera.
The smaller display is absolutely no problem for me, I have a good pair of glasses. No fun aside, synonymous with full sunlight is good to still see everything. In this respect, is superior to the CX XR.
For further questions, please be happy, but not until tomorrow, because now is closing time and I go home.
