Frage von svater01:
Can you give me the difference between the two Sony's name?
I search and search, but nothing in the product details can be found ....
Even on the Sony-europe.com www.sonystyle Page is in the product title HC96E and on the same page in the description is only HC96.

Antwort von Bernd E.:
Can you give me the difference between the two Sony's name? The "E" stands for Consumer Sony for "Europe" and identifies the PAL version of this camera - as opposed to the NTSC versions for Japan or the USA. In general usage (synonymous with dealers), this additional but often under the table. If you are an official of a German dealer HC96 buy, you get exactly having a HC96E.

... and what does the "E"? ;-)
Antwort von Peter06:

E = Europe = PAL system
otherwise without NTSC.
