And if I take up only with the Micro still in mono!?
Why do I have adjusted s.der Camera or what takes the mic only mono!?

Hello,
a serious directional microphone is always mono. It does not distinguish left and right, but "forward" and "do not forward". ;-)

Opposition ...... I have just built a prototype of a stereo shotgun microphone. For animal filmmaker a stereo field in 100 meters distance is not only blödsinn.

hmm what would you recommend (for a theater piece) I stand at the back and needs to film the piece. Indicative micro-yes or no? OR If I play then burn to DVD then I've only synonymous Mono!?

The play is enhanced by PA, you should put yourself at an early stage with the sound mixer in combination, to those deserving of getting Mixdown.
Otherwise Boundary Microphones are recommended. The use I would but not without testing on the stage floor. Otherwise, a stereo microphone in the middle. With directional microphones, the actors run continuously from the host area and will be barely audible. Then even more kidneys.
