Similar to the functions of DVD DivX 6 offers menus, subtitles, the choice between multiple language tracks, slideshows, and the division of shooting directly into anspringbare chapter. As a source formats supported authoring wizard to accept DivX Author MPEG-1/-2, AVI, Windows Media, QuickTime and DivX movies. DivX Author was jointly of Pegasys, the manufacturers of the popular MPEG encoder TMPGEnc and DivX Networks develops. Whoever wants to can the 30-day trial version of Windows (40MB) to download and try out the new features. The unlimited version costs around 50 euros.
