Hello.
I have received an AVI file, which I would like to convert to it in Encore DVD, without further encoding to DVD to burn. This is in DivX AVI format and seems to be compatible NTSC: 720x480 / 29.97 fps. As little as I want to change s.Originalfile (quality is quite ok), then the whole is a DVD in NTSC format. The detour on Encore, I can not knockout, because I still would like to embed subtitles.
The question that now remains open: Which tool can I get good results out, if I convert MPEG2 to DivX want. TMPGEnc is still 'state of the art' or is there meanwhile determination?

encore dvd is very good change as I find so easy ntsc project start, and my cbr 7-8 mbit can render.
so should be quite satisfied.
