@ Powermac: THE Japanese do not exist. But the tendency is very underexposed topic in Japan. There is no law against synonymous discrimination (except in labor law).
Plays a major role synonymous, where you come from - as Europeans or Americans, especially as a tourist noticed one of these problems very little. As unskilled laborers from China or Vietnam or Peru ... already.
The quite right Bürgeremeister Ishihara of Tokyo, for example, early last year, very blatant about Africans in Tokyo talked, and that they no longer want but "smarter immigrants"!
