Purpose: shorter documentaries / articles, reports in "Auslandsjournal-style" - no animal / nature documentaries but in the social sphere: So many interviews, short sequences of landscape, people in street scenes / everyday scenes;
what Filming Locations: allround-fit; urban areas as well as remote areas in tropical regions; Camera should be as robust (crowded bus tours, desert, trop. rain, extreme heat and humidity); mostly daylight settings
technical details: as much as possible manual adjustable (Aperture, Shutter, Color Viewfinder ,..),!, 1920x1080 video resolution, Optical Image Stabilization
Recording media: while I am relatively open hab me down to nothing;
Price limit: Camera: up to approximately 1200th - (very important to me is the price / performance ratio, so if a far better camera costs 1300 I say of course not the same no)
The team consists of 2 persons (first serious Thesis Project = = backpack trip), should be reasonably good (split between 2 people) to be transported;

The camera will be as soon as possible (in the next few months) purchased. With the requirements you get nothing for 1200 ¬.
Computed times 3000 for the Henkel MiniDV Cam for recording, 600 for Tripod + 600 Sound + 600 light. Carrying case is still missing and something against the dust.
As we come into realsitische areas. Below you can only buy small hand-held cameras. Without direct manual settings and no XLR input. For your application so extremely inappropriate.
Or you unscrew HD back to SD. Then you can buy a second hand.
My tip: save even half a year.

So with the SonyVX2100 I have very good experience and it is used synonymous to get quite pricey. The somewhat more professional versions of the Camera (SonyPD170 or PD150) could be interesting. However, for 1300 ¬, there is the Camera (used) and perhaps NEN Battery or two ...

The HV20 does not have XLR inputs and the sound can only be in the menu levels. I would not do to me if I want to rotate a lot of interviews. Currently I tend towards Camera Used: Canon XL1S and XM2 (grad a bid on Ebay for well 1200 (Instant Purchase) with a few). Even a Panasonic AG-DVX100AE with, I would have to 1200th - found ... But I am still looking s.Modelle, tests show ,....

My favorite for this purpose would be a Panasonic HMC-151, because tapeless, robust and cheap. Unfortunately, the price is about ¬ 3400 without.

After I read many reviews and hours spent werd forums I may well have a Canon HV30 growth. I've long synonymous with the question whether HDV or AVCHD apart, ultimately prevail for my needs the benefits of HDV. An Velbon Tripod in 7000 or Bilora 936 class and an external Micro (eg Rode Videomic or similar ),... This setup then yes, I can expand when needed (wide, shoulder stand).
