Hello!
I have a video card of the type "Video Action!" the manufacturer Hercules from 2003. On the PCI board has the following 5 components:
- Of Real Magic EM8475 Sigma Designs, A / V streaming processor, ATI 0217 Rev.
- Conexant Fusion 878A, 25878-13 (audio?)
- HINT HB1-SE33, PCI-PCI Bridge
- Hynix 336A, HY57V6432220OCT-6 (type of video memory?)

- FireWire (internal / external)

The Real Magic EM8475 video chip of Sigma Designs is synonymous installed on the Xcard (Videograbberkarte of Sigma Designs).
My hardware, operating system and software:
- Fujitsu-Siemens Motherboard with AMD Athlon 64 3000 + processor (all from 2004)
- 2X1 GB Kingston RAM modules
- Ati Radeon 512 MB AGP graphics card from 2007
- S-ATA hard drive Western Digital WD1600AABB
- Standard 450W PSU
- Windows XP Professional with SP3
- Ulead VideoStudio 7
Problem:
Enclosed was this Hercules card Ulead VideoStudio 7 SE. The software updates of Ulead, I've downloaded from the Internet and installed successfully. Even a complete reinstall of Win XP and Videostudio7 bring nothing. The read-in analog video on the PC have the appearance of "white fish".
I use generally very good shielded S-Video cable. I've checked all the connections are tight. At the Television from the original band played no films' white fish can be seen "to be.
My questions:
1) Do you support this Videograbberkarte under Windows7 and is stable? (Unfortunately, I have no Win7 trial license)
2) Drivers Hercules.com on the ftp site are from the year 2003 and the drivers on the Sigma Designs homepage. Is there an alternative driver for Win XP, or Linux Win7?
3) Unfortunately, I got from the Manufacturer Hercules no answer to my question as to whether to run the video card drivers synonymous synonymous with Ulead's VideoStudio 8/9/10. Or are there other video editing software, which my Hercules card supported?
